Alexander Graham Bell was a famous inventor. He was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on March 3, 1847. Wow that was a long time ago! He died in Nova Scotia in Canada on August 2, 1922. He was best known for inventing the telephone He first became interested in the science of sound as both his mother and his wife were deaf. His experiments in sound eventually allowed him to send voice signals down a telegraph wire. |
