This school year is almost over and what is next? what are you going to be doing that will make a change for someone else? What can you do that will impact the world and those around you? We always have great ideas, but how many times to we act on those ideas. How can you change this, what can you do?

We all look forward to winter break by the end of the first semester, but we always have mixed feeling once it is over. Half of us want to go back to school to see all of our friends and get back to work, while the other half just wants to sleep in one more day.
During winter break I had a chance to go to Pinnacles National Park in central California and had an amazing time crawling through caves and over rocks, but that was the only traveling I did. When I woke up Monday morning, the first day back to school I was ready to get to work and ready to hide back under the covers. How did you like winter break? Was there anything fun you did with your family? were you ready for Monday morning or did you want to crawl back in the covers too? There have been a lot of comic book heroes made into movies and T.V. shows lately. Before you just had your simple Batman and Superman T.V. Shows, but now everyone is seeing the spotlight. The big question is which league of superheros is better? Or is there something/ someone else out there that would make a better movie or T.V. show about?
Do you like Marvel or DC Universe superheros better? Or do you think there is a better subject that movies should be about? What cartoon, comics, or books to you wish would be made into a movie on the big screen? We all have those little things that get on our nerves and bother us. Some people have a lot of things that bother them and some people just have a few things that bother them. My one thing is when people lie. What is the point of lying, being truthful can save so much time and make things go a lot smoother. Yes, some people lie to be nice, but why not just decline to answer. What can start out as a little lie can grow into something big and haunt you for life. Just respect those around you and tell the truth. You get in less trouble that way.
If you could get rid of one thing that people do that bothers you, what would it be? it can be anything like chewing gum, picking their nose, talking too loud, talking too soft, always saying ummm...anything, what would it be? Summertime is the the time of the year we all wait for as students and teachers. Many people love to finally stay home and relax, but some people get out and go on an adventure. Some people go right outside their house, or down the street to a park. Some people go on a day trip out of the city, or to a different state. Some people even go to a different country, like me! What kind of adventures did you get into this summer? Where in the world did you travel? Who did you go with? If you stayed at home, where/ what would you like to do next summer? Here are some pictures from my Thailand adventure this summer with Ms. Veronica
Everyday in science people are creating new things to make our world better. Are these things really helping us, or do they just entertain us for a short period of time before we find something new. Think about all the toys and books you have that you do not use anymore. Some of them you may not even remember you have them.
What can you create that is new and innovative to our society that could be used now and for years to come. Kids all over the world are creating things and people are making them a reality! January first only comes once a year. Everyone makes resolutions about who they are going to be that year and what changes they will make in thier lives. What will your changes be this year. Who will you make smile? What will you accomplish? Many people never stick to their resolutions, but who says you cannot make everyday new and be a better version of you? Try something different this year to lend a hand, be a friend, or give a hug? What is your life resolution?
Some dreams are hard to fulfill when you do not have the money to complete them. Many things cost money, so this puts people at a disadvantage of doing all the things they would like to do.
If I could spend 30 days doing whatever I wanted without the restrictions of money, I would spend that time traveling the world, saving money and building homes. I would want to travel the world with my husband, helping people we meet along the way. I would want to built homes for people in need so they have some where to sleep. I would like to put savings aside to plan for the future of my husband and kids. I would like to share time and experiences with others. If you had 30 days to do anything in the world, no restrictions, what would you do, where would you go, and who would you see? Not too long ago, about 17 years, there was a time period called the 90's. I have seen so many students walking around with iPhones, and talking about their iPad and ps4, and so many other things that kids of the 90's did not have access to. Kids are so into technology today that it sometimes takes away from the adventure. Here are some things i found different about the 90's and now. What are some of the things you have notice and do you think this is a good change?
My husband and I just saw the movie "Secret Life of Pets." We didn't think it would be a funny movie like "Finding Dori" was, but we cracked up the entire time. That cat was so cute and the hawk cracked us up. Tell me what you thought of the movie, or recommend a new movie and why you think we should watch it. Let me know what you think.
